Be prepared. You will likely have to line up. But all is not lost! It may be a 30-minute wait only. Don't think Din Tai Fung wait times, folks. The reason why you should arrive before 10 AM is to avoid items selling out. drink<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The final red sign tells you to <strong>pay<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The process isn't complicated, but it can be a little stressful as there are a lot of moving parts and a lot of talking back and forth among the servers throughout the preparation of your amazing Taiwanese breakfast. The staffs understand a bit of English, however, here are some useful tips for you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When it is your turn, you should tell the staff whether you are eating in (<strong>\u5167\u7528 n\u00e8i y\u00f2ng<\/strong>) or taking out (<strong>\u5916\u5e36 w\u00e0i d\u00e0i<\/strong>). If you want to try a few but are afraid of not being able to finish at once, you should take out, have some at the place, and enjoy the others afterward.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It's easier to order by pointing at the menu or addressing the number of the item. For example, when ordering drinks, you can point at soy milk and say cold (<strong>\u51b0\u7684 b\u012bng de<\/strong>) or hot (<strong>\u71b1\u7684 r\u00e8 de<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want more than one of each item, simply point and tell them the number in English or use your fingers to address the number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>While plating up and preparing, I could see my shaobing being cut open, and my savoury soy milk being poured into my bowl. None of that flakey nonsense here. Here at Fuhang you're going to get this incredible thick bread shaobing that is going to set you off on an incredible day. They're not particularly known for it, but Danbing is so damn good that it must be solid, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, actually, I didn't love it. Danbing, for me, should be about the crispy skin and fluffy egg inside, with probably some bacon, cheese, and maybe even a cheeky hash brown thrown in there for good measure. But these ones here at Fuhang are much more light in colour, chewy, and only filled with that fluffy egg that we know and love. If you're into chewy danbing, then this is a good shout. But I am not. Now, let's address the elephant in the room right now - <strong>curdle<\/strong>. Oftentimes to curdle means something negative. Now, these fried doughstick 'youtiao' are incredible. Often when you get them in your savoury soy deliciousness, you'll find that they quickly go soggy and fill you up without imparting flavour or texture. <strong>Not here<\/strong>. There is a mildly sweet brushing on top of the bread itself which adds an interesting dimension that helps lift the order even more.
