Well, in steps <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/meetdesserts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meet Desserts<\/a><\/span><\/strong> with some awesome <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=shaved+ice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">snowflake shaved ice<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=mochi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mochi<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, and <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=taro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">taro<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Honestly, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=taipei+main+station\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in the area<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, you won&#8217;t find much better. Nope, weirdly. It&#8217;s on Yanping Road, just a few streets over from the main thoroughfare, on the way towards Ximen MRT. And, while it does have <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=%E8%B1%86%E8%8A%B1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u8c46\u82b1<\/a><\/span><\/strong> on the menu, I would strongly recommend that you go for some amazing ice, instead. At the foreground you&#8217;ll see a mix of taro and sweet potato chewy sweet dumplings, assorted flavoured jelly, then further back you&#8217;ll see the black grass jelly that we all know and love. Next to that you&#8217;ll find some purple rice, and just behind that you&#8217;ll find both <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=red+bean\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">red<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=green+bean\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">green beans<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, respectively. In the smaller squares, youll find peanut, adlay (a little like barley), some more jelly, then even more <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=jelly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">jelly varieties<\/a><\/span><\/strong> behind that. Mochi is a dessert made from mixing glutinous rice flour with water, then pounded and mixed down for quite a considerable portion of time. The result is this sticky, chewy, savory yet sweet, treat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-bottom-line\">The Bottom Line<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is it worth it?<\/strong> Yes, it&#8217;s totally worth going. Even if you&#8217;re not in the area, I feel like it&#8217;s totally worth the effort to get to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will I go again?<\/strong> Without a doubt. I go once every couple of months if I am not in the area. But, if I am in the area, I will invariably go &#8211; similar to if I am in <a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/?s=yongkang+street\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Yongkang street<\/span><\/strong><\/a> or that area, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/lime-organic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I will always go to my favourite drinks shop in the city &#8211; Lime Organic.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What would I recommend?<\/strong> I get the same every time, and that&#8217;s the one pictured above.
